This page describes how to install the Unreal Tournament 4 pre-alpha client.

Sadly, the story is Epic abandoned the development of Unreal Tournament 4 because either or, my un-understanding is perhaps there are no micro-transactions. They tried to build the ecosystem for it but it didn't launch, instead we have a fully-open ecosystem of mutators, maps, and edits to the game to somehow keep this dead game alive. AND, and active, dedicated community which creates new maps and content, hosts tournaments, inspires content creation, and open-ended fun which many of us community unreal tournament participants came to love and enjoy.

High-Level Installation Procedure

1. .NET redistributable installer may be required
2. UT4 Client Installer or Another good guide
3. UT4 Unofficial Update

   You will have to register an account, this is mirroring- the account profiles and directory services provided by epic

Presume you're on Windows for gaming. Windows 10 and 11 tested. If you're more explorative than that, then please do! there is a Linux client , but you'll be your own wheelbarrow.
